Beyond the Stalemate: Rethinking Israel’s Role in Shaping a Peaceful Future
Chabad Intown is proud to bring you an essential and timely discussion on Israel’s ongoing challenges and the path forward.
Leading this conversation is one of Israel’s top political analysts and senior writers at The Times of Israel, Haviv Rettig Gur. Haviv is the go-to expert for breaking down Israel’s biggest challenges with clarity, depth, and real insight. His analysis is sharp, his perspective is powerful and we couldn’t be more excited to bring him to Atlanta.
Israel’s ongoing war in Gaza, its decades of settlement expansion, and the stalled peace process have drawn widespread global criticism. Many see the immense power imbalance between Israelis and Palestinians as a key obstacle to peace. Yet Israelis perceive the conflict differently—why? What drives their thinking, and why do they not see the situation as the world does? Could their perspective hold insights that are often overlooked? This discussion will explore the Israeli mindset, the complexities of the conflict, and what it might take to rethink the path toward a peaceful future.
