Spread Love, Pack Kindness!
On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, we have a beautiful opportunity for you and your children to honor his legacy of service by creating care bags for the homeless—a meaningful expression of Chesed (loving-kindness).
In Jewish tradition, Chesed teaches us the importance of caring for others with compassion and generosity, reflecting the divine image in every human being. By coming together as a community to assemble and distribute these bags filled with essentials and warm notes of encouragement, we bring this teaching to life. It’s a tangible way to uplift those in need, embodying Dr. King’s vision of unity and justice while staying true to Jewish values of giving back and healing the world.
Free to attend! If you would like to contribute to the chesed bag please purchase an item from our wish list by January 13th.
